Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, industrial machinery, electrical systems, and facility equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical equipment to support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. Responsibilities also include performing routine facilities maintenance and assisting with equipment installations, inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, electrical systems, facility equipment, and building systems to support safe and reliable operations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical equipment using appropriate hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and electrical/electronic testing devices.
• Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components, including motors, wiring, switches, sensors, control devices, and other electrical or electronic components.
• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair wiring, electrical components, machinery, equipment, and related facility systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, specifications, and diagrams to support troubleshooting, installation, repair, and maintenance activities.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, gearboxes, conveyor systems, drives, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems used in manufacturing operations.
• Inspect motors, drives, belts, bearings, and other equipment components; check fluid levels, replace filters, lubricate equipment, and complete other scheduled maintenance activities according to established procedures and checklists.
• Repair or replace defective electrical and mechanical components and reassemble equipment to proper operating condition.
• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems throughout the facility.
• Inspect used or replacement parts and determine dimensional requirements using calipers, micrometers, rules, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Make adjustments to equipment, control devices, and mechanical components using appropriate tools and measuring equipment.
• Document completed work, equipment conditions, identified issues, corrective actions, and continuing maintenance needs. Communicate concerns and escalate issues requiring additional technical support as appropriate.
• Enter and maintain accurate work orders, parts usage, preventive maintenance activities, and equipment information within the CMMS system (MVP Plant).
• Safely operate forklifts and Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), including scissor lifts and boom lifts, as required to perform maintenance activities.
• Follow applicable safety procedures, electrical safety practices, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies while performing maintenance activities.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying equipment reliability concerns and opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, and equipment performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, Industrial Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field; or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical training, and experience.

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, components, controls, and industrial equipment, with the ability to assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance and identify equipment conditions that may require repair, adjustment, or additional maintenance.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify potential causes of operating errors, and determine appropriate corrective actions within the scope of the position.
• Working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, and precision measuring instruments used in industrial maintenance.
• Basic understanding of motors, drives, conveyors, electrical controls, and pneumatic and hydraulic systems used in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Ability to conduct equipment inspections and functional tests to evaluate equipment condition, safety, quality, and performance.
• Ability to safely perform maintenance activities in accordance with OSHA requirements, company safety programs, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and the Electrical Safety Program.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety practices and the hazards associated with working on or around industrial electrical equipment.
• Basic understanding of CNC equipment and automated manufacturing systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, with the ability to learn and effectively use CMMS software (MVP Plant). Familiarity with CAD software is preferred.
• Ability to accurately document maintenance activities, work orders, equipment conditions, parts usage, and corrective actions.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to determine the appropriate tools, equipment, and resources needed to complete assigned work.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to effectively communicate equipment issues, completed repairs, and continuing maintenance needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently with appropriate supervision and direction.

Work is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment and may involve exposure to moving machinery, electrical equipment, noise, varying temperatures, and other conditions typical of an industrial facility. The position may require working at heights, using ladders or Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), and working in and around production equipment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and established safety procedures must be followed at all times.
