Essential Functions: * Knowledge of fine dining service. * Must have full familiarity with menus. * Must have full knowledge of beverage offerings/promotions. * Station set-up and breakdown/side-work. * To polish and clean the water glasses and flatware in his/her assigned station before opening hours. * Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager or supervisor. * Complete all assigned side work duties * Service to guests. * Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests, using surnames when obtained. * Complete cleanliness of all dining areas, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Hotel Specific Essential Functions: * Knowledge of hotel property and downtown area * Familiarity with all food and beverage promotions. Tools and Equipment: * Computer and printer, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine, file folders, filing cabinet, facsimile machine Working Environment: * Interior of hotel, in all areas of the hotel. * Exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions. * Exposure to various hazardous chemicals. * Exposure to food items and beverages. Physical Job Requirements (for essential functions only) Lifting/Pushing/Pulling/ Carrying * Lifting trays, equipment, dishware, etc up to 50 pounds. * Pushing, pulling racks, queen marys, etc up to 75 pounds * Carrying orders, equipment up to 25 pounds Bending/Kneeling * Bending up to 30% of shift retrieving equipment, tray removal, etc Mobility * Continuous movement throughout hotel - 80% of shift Continuous Standing * Continuous standing to fill, check, deliver orders 60% of shift Climbing * No climbing required Driving * No driving required Work Environment * Inside 100% of work period (usually 8 hours) Hearing/Vision/Speech/Literacy * Hearing is moderate (Able to communicate with guest one-on-one.
