The Sr. Manager, Operations Intelligence with CoverMyMeds leads the Data and Insights Pod within the Operations Digital Strategy organization, building and operating the analytics infrastructure, governance structures, and reporting capabilities that power AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making across CMM Operations. This role oversees the intelligence layer data foundation, assists in leading the Ops Automation and Efficiency steering forum, and supports data-driven decision-making across operational functions. The Sr. Manager manages a team of analysts and works closely with Finance, external engineering vendors, and operational leaders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Data and Insights Pod - managing a team with an identified set of skills required to assist all Ops Automation work

  • Assist the Ops Automation and Efficiency steering forum and any other necessary meetings for Digital Strategy

  • Drive CMM-wide digital workload measurement - implementing a shared definition

  • Manage efficiency savings reporting - reconciling automation results with Finance and Ops Design while presenting findings to leadership

  • Oversee intelligence layer data quality and availability monitoring - maintaining reliable, current data pipelines

  • Partner with external vendors to ensure data architecture and pipeline delivery meet business quality requirements

  • Manage and lead all team members including their plans for development

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics or Information Systems, or equivalent experience, and typically requires 9 or more years of progressive experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data strategy, with at least 1 year in a people leadership role

  • Demonstrated experience building and operating governance structures such as steering forums, decision logs, and prioritization frameworks

  • Proficiency in at least one business intelligence platform such as Power BI or Tableau, including data modeling

  • Experience producing finance-grade reporting that has been reviewed and approved by a Finance function

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience in healthcare operations, contact center analytics, or similarly regulated environments

  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, or Databricks

  • Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline

  • Experience overseeing vendor-delivered data engineering work without directly building the pipelines

  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to non-technical executive audiences

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $113,300 - $188,800
