Seasonal Driver

Job Objective:

Ensure kettle workers are dropped off and picked up from their kettle locations daily as well having food items and various other donations and purchased products are picked up as directed.

• Load and/or unload donated and purchased goods
• Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior of van
• Complete daily vehicle safety check
• Confirm pickup/delivery times as needed
• Fuel corps vehicle as needed
• Christmas food/toy pick-ups and kettle collections daily

Minimum Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.

Education: N/A

Experience: Related driving experience helpful

Certifications: Valid Wisconsin driver's license with clearance to drive from Salvation Army insurance.

Skills/Abilities:

• Prepare basic written reports/delivery lists, logs & schedules
• Good customer service skills and the ability to represent Salvation Army in a courteous and friendly manner
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
