About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn't a buzzword - it's a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You're in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Applications will be accepted until 10/16/2026.

About the Role
Slack is becoming a platform that both fuels and hosts agents, and a growing set of customers need meaningfully higher API throughput than our standard limits provide. Today, no one owns that customer journey to provide Premium API access to increase this throughput.
This person becomes the customer's trusted guide to Premium APIs, explaining what higher throughput unlocks for their agent and integration strategy, sizing the right degree of usage with our forecasting tools, making sure the commercial terms match what the customer needs, and closing the deal. Post-sale, they check in on adoption and usage patterns so customers are getting real value from the tier they chose, and so renewals are grounded in demonstrated success.
What you'll do

  • Own Premium API deal cycles end to end, from identifying the opportunity through close and into early adoption
  • Identify which customers and accounts are candidates for higher API tiers based on usage trends and growth plans
  • Lead customer conversations on API scale, throughput needs, and what additional capacity unlocks for their agent strategy
  • Use the usage forecasting calculator to size the right volume needs explain the reasoning behind it in terms customers trust
  • Structure deal terms for Premium API agreements, partnering with Deal Desk as needed on contract mechanics
  • Partner closely with account teams so Premium API fits naturally into the broader account relationship
  • Stay engaged post-sale to confirm customers are seeing real value at their new throughput level, catching issues early
  • Feed field learnings back to product and pricing teams so packaging and tooling keep evolving with real usage patterns and customer needs
  • Build playbooks and frameworks that make Premium API conversations repeatable and easier to scale over time

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years in a technical, customer-facing, or consumption/usage-based commercial role
  • Deep fluency in APIs, throughput and rate limiting concepts
  • Comfortable owning commercial deal cycles and usage based modeling
  • Track record driving complex technical or commercial deals to close
  • Strong communication skills across technical and business audiences, including in front of skeptical stakeholders
