Infrastructure Support Engineer

• Conduct criticality assessments to prioritize maintenance and security based on mission impact.
• Perform lifecycle and obsolescence analyses to identify risks in aging infrastructure.
• Apply engineering principles to investigate issues, conduct site surveys, and support design reviews.
• Provide technical support to Facility Systems Engineers and leadership to sustain high-value systems.
• Analyze data to optimize resource allocation, system reliability, and overall resilience.
• Maintain and update MDIOC Systems Engineering processes and documentation.
• Support Verification & Validation (V&V) activities (drafting test plans, executing procedures, collecting data, and reporting findings).
• Maintain engineering tracking tools, dashboards, and distribute weekly activity reports.
• Participate in stakeholder interviews to gather future infrastructure requirements.
• Coordinate seamlessly across senior engineers, Project Management, O&M Contractors, and mission partners.

• Ability to depict technical approaches, designs, block diagrams, and implementations in written and graphical form
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills

• Proven experience driving organizational change management and challenging established norms to implement new technical initiatives.
• Proven experience in asset identification and management, including physical inventories and lifecycle analyses.
• Experience performing obsolescence assessments and developing modernization strategies for aging infrastructure in a Government, defense, or high-tempo operational environment.
• Experience preparing technical reports, tracking dashboards, and briefings for leadership or Government customers.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to climb a ladder, work beneath elevated floor areas, and lift 40 pounds.

• Active SECRET security clearance or ability to obtain one is required for this position.
• U.S. Citizenship is also required for this position.
