The Private Sector Growth Leader is a highly influential leadership opportunity to shape the direction and growth of our private sector business. The leader in this role will establish the strategy and partnerships necessary to expand our environmental and water engineering services, strengthen our market presence, and drive sustainable revenue growth within the vision of the private sector business unit. Their leadership will directly impact the organization's opportunity to deliver meaningful environmental outcomes while advancing long-term business success. The Private Sector Growth Leader will represent the Private Sector Business Unit at the company level as a member of the corporate Growth and marketing teams.

The Private Sector Growth Leaderis aseniorleadership roleresponsible for driving strategic growth across multiple designated areas or marketswithin the Business Unit.This positionwill drivebusiness and sales planning toachievesustainable revenue and profit growthacross the Business Unit.The Business Unit Growthpositionleadsthedevelopment and implementationof the Business Unit's Strategic Growth PlanandClient Growth Business Plans thatfoster andmaintainstrong client relationships across theorganization'sportfolio anddrivesthe strategic growth initiativesand investments for the Business Unit.Thisroleaccountableforachievingkey performance metrics and ensuringalignmentof Business Unit strategieswith overallorganizationalobjectives.



Responsibilities



  • Lead and develop strategicgrowthplanning acrosstheBusiness Unit,includingmultiple areas ormarketsareasand ensure alignmentof strategies withoverallorganizationalobjectives.


  • Develop and implement business and sales plansacrosstheBusiness Unitto drive sustainable revenue and profit growth.


  • Lead and drivethe Business Unit Growth teams,comprisedof key members ofArea Growth teams,toachievekey performance metrics.


  • Act asaclient-focusedSalesLeaderor Senior Reviewertodrive success on topsales opportunities.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams todevelopBusiness Unitsales goals, BD budgets, and profitability targets; drive and support the development of Business Unit, Area, and Client-Levelplans to achieve metrics.


  • Leadcomprehensive market analysis to understand market trends and growth opportunities.


  • Drive connectivity between practice leaders, local group leaders, and CSMs.


  • Work with BU leaders to implement succession planning and development of CSMs.


  • Lead, develop, and coacha high-performingclient serviceteamsby setting clear expectations, providing feedback, and fostering a culture of engagement, growth, and accountability.


  • Work with the Business Unit Leadership Teamto align resourcesto key investments, clients, and pursuitswhile ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.


  • Play an active role in new and ongoing pursuits and campaigns, serving as executive sponsor and pursuitleader in select cases.


  • Oversee workload planning, performance management, and team operations to align resources with businessobjectiveswhile ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.


  • Flexibility to adapt and execute variousadditionalassignments based on evolving needs.


  • Provide oversight and direction to client service managers within the Business Unit.

Experience



  • Typically requires a minimum of20years of sales leadership or related experience.


  • Experience developing sales and pursuit strategies.


  • Experience leadinglargesales growth teams and driving client relationships.


  • A proventrack recordin the achievement of businessobjectivesand strategic goals.



Education



  • ABachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related Business or Technical field isrequired.



Preferred Skills and Experience



  • Demonstrated success leading the growth of environmental and water engineering businesses, including developing and executing market strategies, expanding service offerings, and driving sustained revenue growth across private sector markets.


  • 10 years of sales leadership in the environmental and water engineering markets for private sector clients.



Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Location A: $196,000 - $244,000
Location B: $216,000 - $268,000
Location C: $235,000 - $293,000
