JOB DESCRIPTION AND/OR DUTIES
* Monitor security alerts, incidents, and requests through group mailboxes and ticketing systems, providing first-line support to end users.
* Assist in the development, review, and maintenance of security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with NIST, CMMC, CORA, and other best practices.
* Support incident response activities, including documentation, escalation, and coordination with senior analysts.
* Contribute to compliance programs and cross-functional audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and contractual requirements.
* Provide excellent customer support by responding to security-related inquiries, educating users on security best practices, and ensuring timely resolution of service tickets.
* Collaborate with members of the CIO team and other stakeholders to support organizational security goals.
* Participate in security awareness and training initiatives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Must be in junior or final year of bachelor's degree or enrollment in a graduate program related to Cybersecurity.
2. Experience: Related Undergraduate level coursework and experience preferred.
3. Skills: Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); good interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; critical thinking and organizational skills.
