Job Summary

The HR Generalist will be responsible for providing guidance in employee-related matters through coordination with the local management team and corporate HR.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting efforts of all division hourly and salaried employees
  • New hire onboarding, orientation and training
  • Administer all insurance programs as well as billing
  • Implement and administer company policies and procedures
  • Provide advice and counsel to management regarding employee disciplinary actions and company policy
  • Be an active leader on safety compliance and Osha documentation
  • Ensure company compliance with state/
  • Institute and administer policies on vacation, new provincial and/or federal legislation and timely, accurate reporting of all work-related injuries
  • Ensure annual hourly and salaried employees performance appraisals are conducted and documented. Ensure all salaried employees have GOs in accordance with our business plan
  • Maintain accuracy of all bonus plans and payouts employee hiring, training and education, and leave of absence
  • Maintain PMP documentation for all employees
  • Maintain roster and turnover
  • Maintain updated filing of employee records
  • Coordinate employee events
  • Submit information to Marketing for internal communications Connextions

Qualifications

  • 5 years' human resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to build and sustain confidence and credibility at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience in working with ERP systems
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Focus on results by getting things done
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft environment
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment

Salary Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000 annually dependent on experience*

*pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living

Bonus/Incentive Pay:

Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
