Account Manager, Men's Health & SOAR (Ireland)

About the role

This is a nationwide sales and account-management role responsible for the growth and development of the Boston Scientific Urology Men's Health portfolio across Ireland. The role will focus primarily on the AMS 800 Artificial Urinary Sphincter, AMS 700 Penile Prosthesis and SpaceOAR portfolios.

The position combines commercial ownership, account development, clinical case support and therapy development. While the successful candidate will provide clinical support for relevant procedures, this is a full sales role with responsibility for actively growing the business rather than simply providing case coverage.

This remote field-based role offers a permanent contract and requires extensive travel across Ireland, approximately four days per week based on clinical and commercial requirements.

Your responsibilitieswill include

• Develop and execute a territory strategy to grow the Men's Health business across Ireland.
• Grow and protect the existing AMS 800 sphincter business.
• Develop the AMS 700 penile prosthesis opportunity and identify new centres and clinicians.
• Develop the SpaceOAR business through appropriate account identification and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide clinical support during relevant procedures and build strong relationships with urologists, surgeons and hospital teams.
• Identify opportunities to develop new accounts, clinicians and centres.
• Support therapy development, patient identification and appropriate referral pathways.
• Develop relationships with key clinical, commercial and hospital stakeholders.
• Create strategic account plans and manage the sales pipeline effectively.
• Work collaboratively with internal commercial, clinical and marketing teams.
• Take ownership of delivering agreed sales and business-growth objectives across the territory.

What are we looking for in you

• Successfully completed degree studies (or equivalent) within Life Sciences or a healthcare subject.
• Alternatively, experience in nursing, allied healthcare, clinical, or another relevant medical background.
• Previous experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare or a similar environment would be advantageous, but direct Men's Health or urology experience is not essential as full product, and therapy training will be provided.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Can build relationships with senior clinicians and healthcare professionals.
• Commercial awareness and can identify and develop opportunities.
• Strong organisational and territory-management skills.
• Confidence working in hospital and operating-theatre environments.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to business development.
• Can work independently across a nationwide territory while collaborating with a wider team.
• Full driving licence and comfortable with the travel requirements.
