Key Responsibilities



  • Coordinate the finalization, review, execution, and filing of agreements
  • Draft transmittal letters and basic pleadings
  • Coordinate filings to FERC and Federal and State courts
  • With training, understand MISO Tariff structure and filing process
  • Communicate filing requirements and timelines across the Legal team


What We're Looking For



  • Strong time management skills with demonstrated capability to manage complex workload in a confident and efficient manner, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and document management tools
  • Proficiency utilizing Teams as both communication and document collaboration platform
  • Strong proofreading skills
  • Strong and confident communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience (including as Legal Analyst or Paralegal)


Ability to work in open, collaborative environment with team first mentality

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $69,000-94,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, and qualifications/experience.

Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met. At MISO we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 401k, vacation, sick and safe time, available on your first day of employment.
