Job Summary

The Solution Architect is responsible for serving as the primary technical expert for the Coveo search platform and leading its integration across the customer experience ecosystem. This role designs and governs search, recommendations, personalization, and platform integration solutions while ensuring consistent data flow and user experiences across connected systems.

The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Coveo and search technologies, along with a strong background in software engineering or IT architecture. This role requires expertise in search relevance tuning, machine learning models, APIs, cloud technologies, and composable front-end architectures within a B2B eCommerce environment.

Job Responsibilities



  • Serve as the primary technical expert and architect for the Coveo platform.
  • Design and implement search, recommendations, and personalization solutions across the customer experience ecosystem.
  • Define and maintain integration patterns between Coveo and other customer experience platforms, including Salesforce and Contentful CMS.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable data flow across integrated platforms to support a unified customer experience.
  • Provide architectural governance for Coveo integrations within a composable experience architecture.
  • Oversee Coveo configuration and optimization, including search components, indexing, field mapping, and source management.
  • Design and govern search relevance strategies using Query Ranking Expressions (QRE), Automatic Relevance Tuning, and other Coveo capabilities.
  • Support the design and optimization of machine learning models used for search relevance, recommendations, and personalization.
  • Design A/B testing strategies and analyze user behavior to identify opportunities for search and content optimization.
  • Develop reports and analytics related to search performance, user behavior, and content effectiveness.
  • Provide actionable insights and technical recommendations to business and technology stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable and effective search and customer experience solutions.
  • Establish and maintain technical standards, integration patterns, and architectural best practices.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement and optimization of search capabilities across the B2B eCommerce environment.


Job Requirements



  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering or IT architecture.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Coveo and search technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or another relevant field.
  • Experience with Coveo Cloud, Coveo for Salesforce, or similar Coveo platforms.
  • Proven experience designing and supporting search and recommendation solutions within a B2B eCommerce environment.
  • Strong experience with search engine relevance tuning and optimization.
  • Experience working with machine learning models and AI-driven search capabilities.
  • Experience designing and integrating REST APIs.
  • Strong background in Java, Python, Node.js, or similar programming technologies.
  • Experience integrating Coveo with customer experience platforms such as Salesforce and Contentful.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with composable front-end technologies, including React.js and CSS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership and architectural governance across complex integrations.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Professional certification in a front-end framework or related technology.
  • Experience with alternative search technologies such as Elasticsearch or Apache Solr.
  • Experience working within composable customer experience or eCommerce architectures.
  • Experience with search analytics, A/B testing, and user behavior analysis.


Additional Job Details (Commute, Attendance, etc.)



  • Location: Radnor, Pennsylvania.
  • Hybrid schedule requiring three days per week onsite.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
