The Electrician A is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility. This position supports safe and efficient plant operations by ensuring that all electrical equipment is functioning properly and meets applicable safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
* Perform a variety of electrical repair, maintenance, and construction work using schematics, drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals. * Install, maintain, and repair plant electrical equipment, including: * Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using testing and measuring instruments. * Install conduit, wire, electrical components, and related equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards. * Assist in training Electrician B employees * Perform electrical modifications and support new equipment installations. * Assist with mechanical repairs when necessary to restore production equipment operation. * Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance activities on electrical systems. * Work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement initiatives. * Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation. * Follow all company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety requirements. * Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. * Perform other duties as assigned.
