Position Summary

The Metal Seal Market Manager for Composite Sealing Systems Division will proactively develop, grow, and maintain a portfolio of business, primarily within the Aerospace, Power Generation, and Mobile Industrial Markets, but will reach into adjacent markets as well. Tasks will include market analysis, strategic marketing, product development, project management, and business forecasting. This role will work closely with internal and external contacts including Sales, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Quality Departments to drive increased market share, improved competitive positioning, and profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally to develop and implement product strategies for profitable growth, such as marketing plans, technology roadmaps, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop clear and concise communication of strategic plans for management review.
  • Manage customer accounts, relationships, and agreements.
  • Develop and maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the products, customers, channels, and competitors in the market.
  • Keep management and stakeholders aware of industry changes that impact the business.
  • Proactively identify risks and develop remediation strategies.
  • Build and maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by directing necessary resources to meet customer needs.
  • Manages ongoing customer issues (commercial, technical, operational, & communication)

Qualifications

  • College degree (preferably business or technical) with minimum of 5 years experience in engineering (customer facing), sales, marketing, or product management. Experience in Seal Industry, Aerospace Markets, and/or Parker Hannifin EMG is preferred.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills when working across all functional levels

  • Growth mindset, with strong leadership and motivational skills.

  • Ability to develop trust with customers and colleagues

  • Patient team builder with global acumen to build and manage diverse customer contacts

  • Highly organized, self motivated, and charismatic

  • Potential domestic and international travel of 15-30% at times

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $106490 to $177635 annually
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
