Reporter/Meteorologist to cover Austin, the Hill Country, and San Antonio across live streams, social media, FOX7Austin.com, and linear newscasts. You'll report on major weather and community stories, deliver live updates during severe weather, and create engaging content for every platform.

This role is part of our news team, with opportunities to work both in the field and in the studio. We need a strong storyteller who can think beyond traditional TV news packages and create compelling video, text, graphics, and social content.

• At least three years of reporting and/or meteorology experience
• Strong live, digital, and social-media skills
• Ability to shoot, write, edit, and produce content independently
• Experience covering severe weather and breaking news
• A passion for serving Central and South Texas communities
• Fill-in anchor experience is a plus

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $50,000.00-60,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
