What You'll Do
The Practice Manager works closely with other administrators to plan and manage the professional services provided by PrairieCare Medical Group clinicians. Key Performance Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting in the recruitment and retention of psychiatrists, APRN's, psychotherapists, and other clinicians.
- Manages employee contracts and serves as a liaison in negotiations, including developing language and salary formulas.
- Responsible for, in collaboration with the medical staff/credentialing specialist, ensuring clinicians are adequately oriented and trained and have the tools they need to do their work.
- Designs and evaluates schedules, productivity models and helps with data analysis to optimize clinicians' practices.
- Works closely with the Site Operation Directors to support their management of provider schedules, documentation completion and billing patterns.
- Works closely with the Site Operations Directors, Front Desk Supervisor, and Admissions on patient scheduling processes and oversight.
- Oversees the creation and dissemination of monthly productivity reporting to clinicians and administrators including data such as charges, RVUs, wRVUs, visits, and CPT code analyses.
- Articulates and operationalizes the company's mission, vision, and values.
- Demonstrates knowledge of psychiatric and addictions treatment.
- Demonstrates support for the strategic plan promulgated by PrairieCare Medical Group.
- May have additional oversite of groups or departments as needed.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred, with related healthcare experience.
- 2 to 4 years leadership experience required.
- Strong contract negotiating skills.
- Strong mathematical skill set.
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal form with clinicians, administrators, referents and the public.
- Must have computer skills using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and PowerPoint and must have exceptional skills using Excel.
- Ability to rapidly shift between dissimilar tasks.
- Must have a positive attitude and ability to build rapport with clinicians, staff and clients.
Compensation range for this position is $85k to $95k, based on education and years of experience. We are committed to providing competitive and equitable compensation. An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
