Structural CAD Drafter (1-3 years)

Coffman Engineers' is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter to join our team in applying engineering and drafting skills to successfully develop design packages for a variety of diverse and challenging projects.

Responsibilities will include assisting in creating detailed structural drawings and project documents in collaboration with engineers and other design team members. This requires the ability to develop drawings in conformance with project specifications, client CAD standards, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. Your work will be focused on ensuring a high level of quality and on-time delivery of drafting and design assignments.

Requirements Include:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in drafting and design (at least some parts of this experience will be in the structural discipline).
• Certificate from a CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced skills in CAD, layout, and BIM.
• Design software proficiency with recent release(s) of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Additional computer skills necessary for daily activities including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and BlueBeam.
• Ability to work on multiple projects with various project teams, prioritizing and organizing tasks as needed.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Expected pay range for this position is $28.37 - $32.69 per hour.
