This is a full time remote role. Applicants residing in MD, VA, DC, PA, DE and FL will be given first consideration.

Position Summary:

Supports the analysis, optimization, and implementation of revenue cycle operations through data-driven insights, project coordination, and system support. Performs complex analyses across key areaswhich may includerevenue performance, underpayments, payer contracts, budgets, and operational metrics toidentifytrends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Partners with revenue cycle, finance, and IT stakeholders to support system implementations, enhancements, and emerging technologies (e.g., automation, AI tools), ensuring alignment with operational workflows and organizational goals. Contributes to the planning and execution of projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, accuracy, and financial outcomes.

Develops andmaintainsreports, dashboards, and analytical models tomonitorperformance and support decision-making. Translates data into actionable insights and recommendations,assistingleadership in addressing operational challenges andoptimizingrevenue cycle performance.

This role requires strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and contribute to both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operational support.

  • Performscomplexanalysesofrevenuecycledata,includingrevenueperformance,underpayments,denials,payertrends, andoperationalmetricstoidentifyrisksandopportunities.
  • Developsandmaintainsreports,dashboards, andanalyticalmodelsto support performancemonitoringanddecision-making.
  • Supportsevaluationofpayercontracts,reimbursementmethodologies, andpaymentvariancestoensureaccuraterevenuecapture.
  • Partners withrevenuecycle,finance, andoperationalteamstoprovideinsightsandrecommendationsthatimprovefinancialandoperationaloutcomes.
  • Assistswith systemimplementations,upgrades, andenhancements,includingtesting,validation, and workflowoptimization
  • Participatesinprojectplanningandexecution,trackingprogress,identifyingissues, andsupportingtimelydeliveryofinitiatives.
  • Investigatesandresolvesdatadiscrepancies,reportingissues, andoperationalvariancesimpactingrevenuecycle performance
  • Monitorskey performanceindicators(KPIs) andsupportsongoingperformanceimprovementeffortsacrossrevenuecyclefunctions.
  • Documentsprocesses,reportinglogic, andstandardworktoensureconsistency,accuracy, andknowledgesharing.
  • Participatesincontinuousimprovementinitiativestoenhancetheefficiencyandeffectivenessof therevenuecycle.
  • Ensurescompliancewithregulatoryrequirements,payerguidelines, andorganizationalpoliciesinallanalysesandreporting.

Education:

Bachelor'sDegreeinhealthcareadministration,businessadministration,finance,orarelatedfield(Required)

One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.

Work Experience:

2+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management (Required)
