Field Superintendent - Service

Your main responsibilities

As a Field Superintendent of Existing Installations (EI), you will oversee servicing, maintenance andrepair of assigned units to meet customer and company standards for quality, safety and costmanagement. Support area objectives through effective project oversight and employee management.


Operations Management - Build a safe and effective team environment by leading field technicians to ensure maintenance meets quality standards as well as contract requirements. Coordinate routes, scheduling, ordering parts and verifying payroll accuracy while assuring profitability. Partner with Area/Territory Operations Managers with implementation of company & industry best practices to achieve service financial and delivery metrics

Quality and Safety - Perform regular site inspections to deliver exceptionalservice, maintenance, warranty and repair offerings. Conduct Field SafetyAudits at required intervals to ensure technicians understand and follow safe

Employee development, planning & logistics - Educate technicians onprocesses, tools and standards through training and performance programsthereby continuously improving service delivery. Manage logistics andimplement preventive maintenance strategies; schedule quarterly customersite visits

Collaboration - Collaborate with the local sales team to estimate service orders; Maintain relationships with local IUEC business agents and communicate effectively to resolve disputes. Partner with New Installationand Modernization Project Managers during contract conversions to ensure customer satisfaction


Problem Solving - Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customer to investigate, resolve and address any operational challenges that may arise.

What you bring

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent in relevant work experience in the elevator industry, construction industry or related field


5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues
* Proven leadership skills
* Proficiency in MS Office suite
* Strong organizational skills
* Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to be on call as needed
