Production Assembler

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and customer-specific requirements.
• Basic computer and ERP system knowledge preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 1+ years of previous warehouse, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience required.
• Experience operating forklifts, electric pallet jacks, reach trucks, stock pickers, and other material handling equipment.
• Experience with inventory transactions, ERP systems, shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and cycle counting.
• Experience working in GMP, GDP, regulated manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, or consumer packaged goods environments preferred.

• Advanced understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and distribution processes.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to assist in training and mentoring team members.
• Excellent math, reading, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using handheld or wearable RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible and willing to cross-train across multiple departments and functions.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment and material handling machinery.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support business demands.

Job Duties

• Pick, move, and stage materials using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Assemble, hand-pack, package, and palletize consumer goods, medical devices, and pharmaceutical-related products according to established procedures.
• Prepare shipments by repackaging products, creating labels, boxing materials, and building pallets.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring product accuracy and safe handling.
• Process inventory transactions, stock transfers, material requests, goods receipts, and returns using ERP systems.
• Replenish production and warehouse inventory to support operational needs.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Complete work order transactions, confirmations, backflushing, and goods receipts.
• Prepare domestic, international, and hazardous material shipping documentation and labels as required.
• Verify picked orders for accuracy, quantity, and condition before shipment.
• Generate sales orders and work orders within ERP systems.
• Assist with onboarding, cross-training, and supporting Warehouse Associates.
• Troubleshoot warehouse issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Support warehouse, distribution, and fulfillment activities while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
