Overview Abacus Technology is seeking an FAA Reliability and Maintainability Engineer to provide engineering and technical support for the KC-46 program at Wright-Patterson AFB. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities
Support development and execution of Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) processes for the KC-46 program, ensuring requirements are integrated throughout acquisition and sustainment activities.
Qualifications 15+ years experience in systems and test engineering including at least 5 years experience in a DoD environment. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Knowledge of FAA maintenance reliability processes and procedures supporting aircraft maintenance program optimization. Experience with Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) engineering for aircraft or complex weapon systems, including FRACAS, reliability reporting, failure analysis, and corrective actions. Knowledge of aircraft airworthiness, OSS&E, system integrity, and sustainment engineering principles and processes. Familiarity with CASS and/or G081 maintenance data is highly desired. Working knowledge of DoD and U.S. Air Force engineering, acquisition, and sustainment processes. Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
