Our Macquarie Capital team provides advisory and capital raising services to corporate and government clients involved in public mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity fund raising and corporate restructuring. It also undertakes in principal investing activities globally to support its client activities.

What role will you play?

As an Analyst in our Spec Fin & Leasing team in New York, you'll support client engagements and gain experience across M&A and capital raising activities.
Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll contribute to live transactions and new business development while building your financial and commercial skills.
Typical tasks include:
  • building and running financial models,
  • drafting pitch presentations for clients,
  • helping to run key transaction work streams on live deals
  • actively tracking share price movements, while monitoring industry news, trends and transaction updates.

  • Take part in an orientation to learn about Macquarie business groups, with your fellow analysts in New York and expand your professional network.
  • Receive formal training, including financial modelling and presentation skills, but at its core the program provides practical on-the-job learning to further your career.

  • Build strong connections and work collaboratively while also partnering directly with our business leaders on meaningful and challenging work.
  • Receive support from your manager and an aligned mentor as you gain genuine insight into our industry.
Estimated salary amount is the equivalent of $90,000 - $110,000 annually.. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
