Construction Manager, LFP & Semi

Tesla is looking for a Construction Manager to work on large scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project thatrequires exceptional talent. The product portfolio is expanding with never-built-before production lines, and requirements demand cell production volume at a scale which was once thought to be impossible to reach. • Leadandmanageateamresponsibleforplanning,executing,anddeliveringCivilandArchitecturalwork,whiledevelopingexecutionplansthatensurecostandscheduletargetsaremet
• Developandsubmitfundingrequestsfornewprojects,andpresentprojectstatusupdatestoexecutiveleadership
• Conductconstructabilityreviewsthroughoutdesigndevelopmenttoconfirmthatengineeringdocumentsalignwithprojectrequirements
• Respondpromptlytoinquiriesanddrivetimelyresolutionoftechnicalissues
• CollaboratewiththeProcurementteamtodevelopbiddableworkpackagesandvalidatecontractorproposalsagainstcostandscheduleestimates
• Coordinateandinterfacewithengineering,construction,procurement,andcommissioningteamstoensureseamlessprojectdelivery
• Maintainahighstandardofqualityandsafetythroughoutallphasesoffieldexecution
  

• Degree or related 10+ years field experience
  
• Experience as a Construction Manager on +100M industrial or commercial construction projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite products, Bluebeam and Plangrid
• Willingness to spend a high percentage of time in the field to ensure project objectives are being met
• Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals
• Willingness to travel as needed
