Division Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery The University of Southern California (USC) was founded in 1880 and is the largest private employer in the city of Los Angeles. The faculty position will span both the University setting (primarily USC Arcadia Hospital and its satellites) as well as our committed role to serving the underserved population in East Los Angeles through our affiliation with Los Angeles General Medical Center (formerly known as LAC+USC). The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California is seeking a Division Chief of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery who is a fellowship trained, board certified academic urogynecologist at the level of associate or professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This position is ideally suited to a mid-career faculty member. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has demonstrated clinical excellence and whose primary responsibility will be the expansion of clinical services. This physician leader must also have a dedication for teaching and training future gynecologists and urogynecologists as part of our fellowship program. Responsibilities will include the outpatient and surgical care of complex patients with pelvic floor disorders and applicants should have experience in the evaluation and management of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, urogenital fistulae, mesh complications, pelvic pain syndromes, obstructed defecation, and fecal incontinence. The position offers a salary with excellent university benefits and an academic appointment at the Keck School of Medicine of USC commensurate with the level of training and experience. The annual base salary for this position is $400,000-425,000. Additionally, the chosen candidate will receive a signing bonus of $35,000 and relocation costs reimbursed up to $15,000.
