Continuation past the termlengthdiscussed willbebasedonuniversityneed,performance,and/oravailabilityoffunding.POSITION SPECIFICS The Department of Applied Linguistics in the College of the Liberal Arts seeks a visionary administrator to direct its Intensive English Communication Program (IECP). The Director will provide daily oversight of program operations; model and facilitate excellence in program communications; cultivate a transformative academic environment; develop and oversee recruitment efforts; hire, train, review and foster professional development of faculty and staff; and represent the IECP on campus and within the profession. The Director of the IECP reports directly to the Head of the Department of Applied Linguistics. As a member of the graduate faculty, the Director is eligible to teach a 1-0 course load in Applied Linguistics and to serve on graduate committees.
