Warehouse Associate

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, packing slips, product labels, and inventory documents.
• Basic math and computer skills helpful for inventory tracking and warehouse operations.
• Commitment to following workplace safety procedures and company policies.

Experience Requirements

• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, distribution, order picking, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other warehouse equipment is beneficial.
• Familiarity with inventory management and order fulfillment processes is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately pick, pack, and stage orders.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Team-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using inventory systems, scanners, or warehouse management software is a plus.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull HVAC equipment, parts, and warehouse materials, including heavier items.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and organize products in a warehouse setting.
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment while following safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.

Job Duties

• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize HVAC equipment, parts, materials, and supplies.
• Pick, pull, pack, and stage customer and contractor orders accurately for shipment or delivery.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring products are secured and protected from damage.
• Label, stock, organize, and count inventory to maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Verify shipment quantities, review paperwork, and prepare outgoing orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations as needed.
