Operations Technician Sr - Commercial Lines

The Operations Technician Senior will support commercial lines (CL) operational and underwriting processes within guidelines by handling a variety of basic to moderately complex policy transactions that support the review and acceptance/decline of new or renewal CL business.

This team member assists on behalf of underwriting claims, sales producers, and agents, compiles and/or shares policy and coverage for assigned lines of business and customers. They will ensure proper documentation and records management according to regulatory and Sentry standards.

What You'll Do
*Respond to internal and external information requests, including email and phone inquiries. Effectively explain plan details and/or processing requirements
*Document and maintain customer policy information. Gathers necessary data from various sources, reviews data for accuracy and ensures appropriate resolution Ensures data meet company standards for compliance and quality
*Processes and releases policy documentation, such as certificates of insurance, to customers and/or authorized parties; documents all activities in internal systems
*Provide operations support, including processing of new and renewal transactions and policy updates
*Provides general administrative support, which may include, but is not limited to, participating in process improvement projects and quality audits.

What it Takes
*High School Diploma or equivalent work experience; Associate Degree preferred
*Experience supporting commercial lines insurance operations preferred
*Ability to communicate effectively and accurately both verbally and in writing
*Ability to interact with others and work in a team environment
*Organizational skills and ability to meet service standards and deadlines
