Join Cal Water and be part of a purpose driven organization where your work makes a lasting impact.The Asset Management Engineer reports to the Tank & Pipeline Engineering (T&PE) team whose primary function is to provide engineering and maintenance support services related to tanks, pressure vessels, pipelines, cathodic protection systems, groundwater production wells, pumping equipment, water treatment infrastructure, and supporting pump station facilities. Typical duties of the Asset Management Engineer in the T&PE team includes risk & reliability program management, infrastructure renewal and replacement, capital program management, life-cycle assessment, technical reviews and report development, oversight of field improvements, innovative design improvements, contract administration, and outside agency interaction. Additional responsibilities of the T&PE team include capital planning and business case development, development of company and department performance metrics and KPI's, strategic maintenance program management, program development and training, and engineering design review and functional support of the Company's Enterprise Asset Management Program. The position reports to the Asset Management Engineering Tank & Pipeline Supervisor. The Asset Management Engineer is located in San Jose, California. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
