JOB SUMMARY: This role is responsible for generating insights and root-cause analyses. This role also builds and maintains dashboards and provider-facing reports to inform decision-making. Work is performed using SQL Server, ADF/Databricks, Power BI modeling reporting tools. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, informatics, management of information systems, data science, business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field (Required)
- Master's Degree in computer science, informatics, management of information systems, data science, business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field (Preferred)
- One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education.
- Minimum 2 Years of Experience in healthcare technology, analytics, software development, or data management (Required)
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and designing ETL/data models; architects BI solutions and oversees data pipelines.
- Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced interactive dashboards and visualizations; establishes metric definitions and performance tracking.
- Advanced knowledge of electronic health records and clinical data sources, including medical terminology and value sets, to define, validate, and interpret measures (numerator/denominator/exclusions).
- Ability to lead data validation and quality assurance processes, implementing automated testing and reconciliation between source systems and reports.
- Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and minimum necessary principles; develops and enforces secure data access policies.
- Ability to conduct and lead root cause analyses and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., run charts, PDSA), translating findings into prioritized interventions and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to analyze clinical workflows and operational processes at scale to identify systemic documentation or process gaps and recommend redesigns.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, document decisions, and drive consensus.
- Ability to communicate complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly to executives and clinical leaders and to mentor others in data storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects and portfolios with strong prioritization and sound judgment while handling sensitive and confidential information.
