Job Description


Under direct supervision, follows specific procedures and detailed instructions, distributes supplies, tools and equipment. Follows established governmental regulations, organizational guidelines, company policies and procedures when performing job responsibilities. Assists with researching and completing supply requests in a timely manner. Accurately and timely receives, records, and delivers incoming shipments and ships out orders and returns. Acquires and records information regarding the status of supply transactions. Assists with all duties and responsibilities associated with storage areas and inventory system. Assists with receiving, issuing, labeling, maintaining approved supply levels and shelving of supplies. Assists with duties and responsibilities associated with property control. When applicable, assists with monitoring and ensuring Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) compliance. Performs a variety of maintenance operations support for the purpose of supporting the administration, equipment accountability and property control functions, facilities upgrades/repairs, logistics management and purchasing systems for the Maintenance Divisions' activities. These functions may include one or more functions but are not limited based on the requirement established by the Test Officer or the Maintenance Division Chief. Coordinates facility upgrades or repairs with the Public Works Dept. work order desk as required for those activities that primarily support the Maintenance Division (i.e., Welding, Supply, Quality Control, Test Vehicle Maintenance, Armor Systems, etc.). Acts as Collateral Duty Safety Officer (CDSO) when requested by the Maintenance Division Chief for safety training and coordinating the scheduling of personnel assigned to the Maintenance Division (both government and contractor support personnel). Performs other duties as required to complete the assigned mission. This position is covered under the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Qualifications


Pay Rate:$30.33

Education/Licenses/Certifications/Experience Requirements:

* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

* Must have at least 4 years' experience in material management or related field.

* Must have demonstrated data entry experience.

Job Skills Requirements:



* Must be proficient with Windows and MS Office Word and Excel.

* Must have the ability to learn and use specialized software applications.

* Must have demonstrated ability to perform their duties with a high level of attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

* Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical and periodic retests.

* Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for work tasks assigned.

* Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions including summer temperatures peaking around 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

* Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted.

* Must meet the physical requirements necessary to perform operations outlined, performed, and stated in the section SOPs.

* Must be able to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, to support test missions.

* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.

* Must have dependable transportation and a dependable means of communication.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:



* Knowledge of Microsoft Access.

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements:



* Must be a U.S. Citizen.

* Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance prior to employment and maintain security clearance for the duration of employment.

* Must be a current TRAX employee or affiliate subcontractor for internal postings.
