Position Title: Electrician
Wage: $40.00-$45.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm QPS Employment Group is hiring an Electrician for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity on 1st shift. Electrician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including motors, conveyors, and lighting - Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime - Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation and repairs - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems - Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes - Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to address equipment and process needs - Document work performed, including maintenance records and repair logs Electrician Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Formal training or certification in electrical systems preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in food production - Knowledge of electrical systems ranging from 24 to 480 volts - Proficiency in using hand tools, testing equipment, and diagnostic devices - Strong understanding of safety protocols and electrical codes - Primarily in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures - May involve working at heights, in confined spaces, or with electrical systems under power - Personal protective equipment must be worn as required IND103 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
