Position Title: Blender Operator
Wage: $18.00-$21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Blend your skills into a great opportunity! We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Blender Operator to join a fast-paced production team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with math, measurements, scales, batch recipes, and production equipment. You'll play an important part in preparing accurate batches, operating blenders and other equipment, maintaining inventory, and ensuring products meet quality and safety standards. If you're organized, safety-minded, comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, and can follow detailed instructions, this could be the perfect opportunity to grow your manufacturing career! Blender Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Follow proper instructions on blend recipes and batch tickets - Locate and maintain inventories in the pre-weigh room - Work with warehouse to keep stock at proper levels - Manage operation, setup, and recordkeeping for all blending equipment, including scales, blenders, sifters, and metal detectors - Load materials into blender(s) - Perform pack off of finished products for all batch productions - Prepare equipment with safety checks, handle changeovers - Follow cleaning procedures between runs - Support chai team brewing production operations - Maintain clean production areas, follow SOPs and GMPs, support compliance with certifications, and assist with preventive maintenance Blender Operator Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required - Strong math skills, with the ability to perform accurate measurements and calculations - Experience working with scales and understanding of lot number tracking - Previous experience in a blending or batching role is preferred - Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly - Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and working on your feet - Ability to bend, stoop, and reach to handle materials and equipment - Good manual dexterity for handling small components and measuring instruments - Ability to work in environments that may include exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently in a self-motivated and self-paced environment - Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions IND137 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
