Position Title: Production Technician
Wage: $21.50 - $22.50/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 6:00am - 2:00pm, 2:00pm - 10:00pm or 10:00pm - 6:00am Feeling underpaid or undervalued? This could be the position that you deserve! Production Technician Responsibilities: - Perform assignments per established safety policies and procedures - Adhere to the Quality Policy, including all items assigned to this position following policies, procedures, and work instructions - Comply with the work rules and standards outlined in the Associate Handbook - Lift and handle glass throughout shift - Inspect glass for defects - Slot and pack glass into correct racks - Ensure production line runs smoothly Requirements for Production Technician: - Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job, function, or assignment - Ability to perform basic mathematical equations - Ability to follow work rules, work independently, be flexible, and be willing to perform various jobs - Ability to maintain clean work areas and follow good housekeeping practices - Ability to stand, walk, use hands to grasp, push and pull, bend and lift, reach with hands and arm. - Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred - High School Diploma equivalent QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
