UCR Health has a career opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing patient-centric healthcare to our patients. The position's primary work location will be at our Corona or Chino Hills clinic. This position will work independently and in conjunction with a supervising physician to provide clinical expertise to complex patients by taking detailed medical histories, performing exams, interpreting lab results, making diagnoses, and implementing ambulatory treatment. Provides patient/family member education promoting health maintenance, Diabetes education, and patient safety in a primary care clinic setting. Provides comprehensive care to a diverse panel of patients across the lifespan, with a focus on preventative health, wellness, and the management of acute and chronic conditions. Collaborates with others in the clinic to assure a smooth flow of patient care consistent with established quality indicators and participates in the overall coordination of patient care. Works closely with MAs and provides back-office guidance. The care delivered will be based on evidence-based and guideline-based practice, and scientific knowledge, and in accordance with requirements set forth by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
The full salary range for the Primary Care Nurse Practitioner is $170,735.76 - $239,827.68 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. The successful candidate will be placed on the salary range based on years of experience from date of licensure in alignment with the union contract. Newer Nurse Practitioner's with clinic experience as an RN may be considered for a Nurse Practitioner 1 at the flat hourly rate of $79.15. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
