Many successful team members are pursuing careers in nursing, physician assistant studies, medical imaging, or other healthcare fields. While prior PCT or Emergency Department experience is preferred, it is not required, as technical skills can be taught. Located in a 27-bed Emergency Department that cares for approximately 80 patients daily, you will support a diverse patient population, including elderly patients and those with complex medical needs, while working alongside a team known for its outstanding culture and willingness to help one another. Technicians typically care for 8 to 12 patients and are expected to assist throughout the department as needed, making teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to excellent service essential to success. This position is afull-time Evening shift working with 3-12 hour shifts from 9:00 AM-9:30 PM. We offer self-scheduling for shift and weekend coverage. Scheduled workdays may vary, as there are no set or fixed days. Weekend and Holiday Rotations are required in this role. Weekend shift differentials are offered, along with evening and night shift differentials where applicable. Great care starts with great people. (Like you.) Provides patient related care tasks based on the principles of growth and development across the life span of patients served in his/her independent unit. Assists, observes, and reports patient changes to licensed caregiver and maintains accurate medical record documentation relative to the care delivered.
