WHAT WE OFFER

Covestro is seeking a motivated and curious intern to join ourFinance, Accounting, Controlling, and Tax organization(s) (FACT)for Summer 2027 at our North American headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is a hands-on internship where you will do meaningful work from day one. The intern will primarily be part of ourTax group, tackling real responsibilities, including assisting the tax team with ongoing compliance and contributing to the completion of income, sales and use, property, and other related business tax projects. You may also have the unique opportunity to rotate exposure across ourFinance, Accounting, and Controllingteams, giving you broad exposure to multiple disciplines within a corporate finance organization. Specific accounting, controlling, or finance projects may include assisting the respective teams with closing-related responsibilities, financial statement preparation, account reviews, product costing, and other business-driven requirements.

This position is not eligible for relocation or housing costs.

WHAT YOU OFFER

Basic Qualifications:

  • Actively enrolled full-time in aBachelor's degree programin Accounting, Finance, or Business
  • Completion ofsophomore year by May 2027(junior standing entering Summer 2027)
  • Minimum cumulativeGPA of 3.3
  • Foundational coursework inaccounting and/or finance(introductory-level courses sufficient)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minor or coursework inData Analytics or Information Systems
  • Familiarity withtax conceptsthrough coursework or prior experience
  • Experience withdata visualization tools(e.g., Power BI, Tableau) orERP systems(e.g., SAP)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Stronginterpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and with diverse individuals
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office, with emphasis onExcel(data entry, basic formulas, formatting),PowerPoint(creating clear, professional presentations) and Word
  • Foundational understanding offinancial statements, accounting principles, and general ledger processes - introductory coursework in these areas is sufficient
  • Demonstrated ability tomanage multiple deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Eagerness tolearn new tools and processesin a fast-paced, professional corporate environment
  • Ability to managesensitive and confidential financial informationwith discretion and professionalism
  • Strongattention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effectivewritten and verbal communicationskills
