Process Training Specialist (3rd Shift)

Shift: Monday - Thursday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM

The Operations Trainer provides process-related training to new and current distribution center associates. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supports quality, safety, and security initiatives through training, auditing, and employee onboarding. The Operations Trainer partners closely with the Operations Training Specialist to execute the site's overall training strategy.

What You'll Do:
  • Deliver hands-on training to new and existing associates on departmental SOPs and operational procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned operational areas.
  • Conduct on-the-job training, coaching, and employee development activities.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Partner with the Quality & Continuous Improvement team to promote quality, safety, and security standards.
  • Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities.
  • Perform productivity-related tasks to support operational requirements.
  • Collaborate with Operations Training Specialists, Industrial Engineers, Logistics Center Directors, Auditors, and Quality teams to review new and existing SOPs.
  • Assist in evaluating training effectiveness through surveys, performance metrics, and skills assessments.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

  • Ability to safely lift and transport up to 60 pounds.
  • Commitment to maintaining quality, safety, and ethical business standards.
  • Previous training, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred.
Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate Degree preferred.
Working Conditions:
  • Distribution center environment with potential exposure to extreme temperatures
  • High noise levels

  • Outdoor weather conditions
  • Classroom and office environments.
  • Occasional overtime or non-standard work hours as business needs require.
