As a Shift Supervisor, you'll help lead daily restaurant operations, support our team of Food Travel Experts, and create welcoming experiences for travelers. Build hands-on leadership experience as you coach employees, coordinate shift priorities, and maintain SSP's service and operating standards.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and provide courteous, attentive service.
• Lead shifts according to SSP standards and operating procedures.
• Communicate priorities and guide the team through daily operations.
• Train new employees on operational standards and processes.
• Provide clear direction, constructive coaching, and support.
• Complete required opening, ongoing, and closing checklists.
• Help maintain food safety, cleanliness, and service standards.
• Address guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed.
• Perform other duties related to restaurant operations as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Ideally, at least one year of experience in food service, hospitality, or a customer-facing role.
• Experience leading shifts, supporting a team, or training employees is a plus.
• Able to obtain and maintain required airport security credentials and any applicable food-handler certification.
• Comfortable training and coaching team members with patience, respect, and professionalism while helping create a welcoming, inclusive work environment.
• Committed to following food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and company procedures.
• Comfortable organizing tasks and helping the team deliver great service during busy periods.
• Available for fullt assigned schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ready to help guide daily shift operations and communicate clearly with team members.
• Enjoys working alongside a team in a fast-paced restaurant environment at San Diego International Airport.
