| Brief Summary of Work for this Position |
The Business Services Coordinator provides administrative support for all departments within Research and Innovation.
This Business Services Coordinator position reports to the Advanced Business Services Coordinator in Research and Innovation and will complete all administrative and fiscal functions as directed by the Advanced Business Services Coordinator within Research and Innovation.
This work includes budget management, processing financial transactions, reconciliation of financial data, purchasing, travel processing, cash receipting, hiring students and processing payroll actions along with other assigned duties as needed. This position works closely with the Business Officer in Academic Affairs Resource Administration along with Business Affairs to make sure all policies and procedures are followed while timelines and deadlines are met. |
| Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |

- Experience with Banner Finance, Banner HR
- Experience with Purchasing
- Experience with Travel processing
- Experience as well as familiarity with UNCW policies and processes
- Familiarity with state funding
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
