What You'll Experience:
10-Week Summer Internship Program: May 24, 2027 - July 30, 2027 Location: CSX Headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida (on-site) Housing Support: Eligible interns may receive complimentary housing for the duration of the program. Primary Activities and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with PTC teams to prepare and organize submissions to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA)
- Assist PTC teams with compiling and analyzing PTC performance data
- Identify trends, issues, or anomalies in PTC reporting data for management review
- Research and summarize FRA regulations, guidance and industry standards affecting PTC
- Collaborate with PTC teams on the development of recurring reports
- Miscellaneous activities and responsibilities as assigned by manage
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be a rising senior or graduate student enrolled in an accredited college or university, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree: systems engineering, computer engineering, computer science, business administration, information technology, or law.
- Be available to work up to 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week program
- Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Must be 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications:
- Anticipated graduation within a year after the end of the internship
- Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.5 (based on a 4-point scale)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Time management skills
- Effective analytical, organization, prioritization, and written and oral communication skills
- Experience with programming languages, such as Python or Java
- Microsoft Office skills
Job Requirements:
- Work hours may vary in length and schedule (may include a non- standard workweek)
- Work at elevated heights at times
- Successfully complete a background check and drug test

- Up to 5% Travel estimated
