As a Security Officer Armed Driver Asset Protection in Midland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care for people.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas, while maintaining awareness of changing conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and applicable laws.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
