Security Officer Full Time - FM 1942

As a Security Officer Full Time - FM 1942 in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in the job state. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and support security-related operations while demonstrating Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical facility.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, screening authorized visitors, issuing temporary access credentials, and maintaining accurate entry and exit records.
• Observe access points, alarms, cameras, and other assigned systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and equipment issues according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations, while following site-specific requirements and applicable procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
