As a Security Officer Full Time TWIC Patrol - Strang rd. in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This driving position includes operating in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements while communicating clearly, responding to security-related concerns, and supporting site operations. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to designated areas, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and incident information in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain awareness of chemical/petrochemical site conditions, follow posted requirements, and promptly report hazards, spills, equipment concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
