Position Title:Manager of Care Management Platform Admin Department:Pharmacy Reports To: Director of Pharmacy status: Exempt Non-Exempt Position Summary: The primary responsibility will be to support the pharmacy operations through system configuration and reporting. This role will require close collaboration with pharmacy leadership, departments supporting pharmacy, and the platform vendor to identify configuration requirements and execute projects to accelerate the pharmacy. Other Key Relationships: Cross-Functional Departments within the Organization Essential Duties: Understand the pharmacy needs and operations to manage the platform configuration requirements Act as a process consultant to streamline the patient and team experience to generate efficiencies Represent pharmacy operations in cross-functional meetings and projects Partner across the business to gather requirements for business analytics and reporting Prepares and analyze platform reports, metrics, and forecasts and provide feedback and recommendations Interface with the platform vendor for requirements that necessitate customization and help manage these projects to completion Provide initial and ongoing training on the platform to all users Support the user community with system issues such as bugs or new requests by coordinating resolution with the platform vendor Continuously gather user input and formulate ideas for platform improvements Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards Desired Outcomes: Ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the pharmacy platform, facility, and processes Platform configuration to generate automate alerts, templated communications, and other custom engagement requirements Plans and organizes work effectively and ensures its completion Exercises appropriate cost control measures Communicates and collaborates with other supervisors, managers, and stakeholders on operational issues and goals Monitors and reports on operational metrics and indicators Fosters a positive, collaborative and productive work environment Represents the organization professionally at all times Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from a four year college or university desired, 4 years of pharmacy experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience Pharmacy technician certification and state registration preferred Prior experience with business process mapping and/or improvement a plus Ability to read an interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence; ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization Basic knowledge of pharmacy rules and regulations Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make independent decisions Values Certainty-The lives of the individuals we serve depend on our ability to execute.
