Location: Suburban Hospital, Bethesda, MD-Blood Bank

Day Shift / 7:00am-3:30pm- Full Time

General Summary:

  • Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a culture of safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee daily operational duties, data analysis, and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional standards.

  • Manage laboratory resources, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.

  • Collaborate with cross-funtional teams to support organizaltional goals
  • Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high data integrity.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Medical Technology or related discipline for Medical Technologist
  • Documentation of minimum Laboratory CE points required per evaluation year

Experience:

  • Three (3) years full time experience of Laboratory experience
  • Strong Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • excellent organizational,communication,and problem-solving skills.

Required Licensure, Certification, On-going Training:

  • MT (ASCP), or equivalent, relevant to the discipline
