Overview

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting employees to and from Tennessee Cancer Specialists' Johnson City office. This role plays an important part in ensuring employees arrive at their destination safely, on time, and with a positive experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, courteous, safety-focused, and committed to providing exceptional service while operating company vehicles.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
  • Safely transport employees between designated locations and the Johnson City office according to established schedules.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional vehicle environment.
  • Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols while operating the vehicle.
  • Assist passengers as needed to ensure a safe and comfortable transportation experience.
  • Monitor routes and adjust travel plans as necessary due to traffic, weather, or road conditions.
  • Maintain accurate transportation logs, mileage records, and other required documentation.
  • Communicate schedule updates, delays, or transportation issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure punctual arrivals and departures to support operational efficiency.
  • Represent Tennessee Cancer Specialists in a professional and courteous manner at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Must possess a good driving record. Must possess a valid state driver's license. PHYSICAL DEMANDS : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
