Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead

Inova Fairfax Medical Center is looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead to join the team. This role will be a Full Time Day Shift, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 07:00 am-7:30pm. Sign-on Bonus & Relocation Assistance eligible.

Diagnostic Imaging Technical Lead Job Responsibilities:

• Obtains clinical history/informed consent from patients or patients' charts to assist the physician in optimizing the performance and interpretation of the examination, as evidenced by the exam results.
• Coordinates new team member and student department orientation/training. Assists with patient and team member scheduling to enhance the productivity of the department.
• Maintains an orderly, safe, and clean environment to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Ensures rooms are stocked with appropriate supplies for procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certification - Basic Life Support Upon Start; Must be certified by at least one of the following: ARRT, RDMS, RVT, ARMRIT, CAMRT or NMTCB;as applicable with additional certification in an applicable imaging modality required Upon Start

• Licensure - Upon start, must be licensed as required by the state of employment if employed at an Inova Health System freestanding Imaging Center not affiliated with one of the Inova hospitals.

• Experience - Three years of Imaging experience in an applicable modality, X-Ray or Ultrasound or Cat Scan or Mammography or MRI or Interventional Radiology or Nuclear Medicine in a hospital/healthcare environment, Recent hospital experience.

• Education - Graduate of an accredited school/program of radiography, Nuclear Medicine or MRI certification from ARMRIT or CAMRT, Graduate of an accredited school of radiography or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
