Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand, is seeking a highly experienced 2nd shift CNC Milling Machinist to join our team.

Pay Range of $28.50/hour to $35.00/hour based on experience with overtime opportunities

Additional $2.00/hour 2nd shift differential

As a CNC Milling Machinist, your mission is to produce precision-machined components by setting up and operating CNC milling equipment while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Operation - Set up and operate both vertical and horizontal milling centers while adhering to production standards, ISO 9001 requirements, and established work procedures.
  • Blueprint & Process Interpretation - Interpret drawings, specifications, process sheets, program readouts, route sheets, shop orders, diagrams, and instructions to determine proper operation sequences and verify work requirements.
  • Tooling & Machine Adjustments - Obtain tooling from the tool crib, select holders, mount and secure tooling, verify tool accuracy, and make necessary offsets and adjustments to maintain part specification.
  • Programming & CNC Controls - Edit and modify CNC programs, utilize working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming, and troubleshoot Fanuc controllers to support safe, efficient, and accurate machining operations.
  • Precision Inspection - Inspect parts to print using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. Identify material defects and perform deburring as required.
  • Production Support & Continuous Improvement - Support efficient production flow by troubleshooting machining issues, optimizing processes, working with a variety of materials including cast iron and cast components, and contributing to quality and productivity improvements.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years of CNC vertical and horizontal milling experience with machine setup and operation
  • Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions.
  • High school diploma or GED; strong math and blueprintreading skills.
  • Ability to read and utilize measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers.
  • Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, with experience calculating feeds and speeds.
  • Effective communicator who follows written and verbal directions and contributes well to a team environment.
  • Technical Certificate or one-year program from a college or technical school preferred.
