- Provide strategic oversight and expert guidance for resolving Level 2 and Level 3 network security incidents across the Americas and globally, focusing on Zscaler Internet Access, Zscaler Private Access, and Palo Alto Firewall
- Serve as the recognized regional technical authority for network security projects, leading deployment and adoption of Palo Alto and Zscaler technologies in partnership with business, infrastructure, and security stakeholders
- Own, define, and govern network security services and appliances globally for Office, Cloud, and Operations Technology environments, ensuring alignment with global technology strategy and business needs
- Define, drive, and continuously improve zero-trust security initiatives in collaboration with global cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business leaders, aligning with enterprise security strategy and emerging business requirements
- Evaluate emerging cybersecurity trends, technologies, and industry best practices to promote adoption of next-generation security capabilities supporting digital transformation initiatives
- Establish and monitor operational key performance indicators and metrics for network security services to drive continuous improvement in effectiveness, availability, and maturity
- Lead development and governance of network security control frameworks, policies, and architecture standards to ensure consistent security control implementation and cyber risk mitigation
- Ensure network security controls comply with corporate cybersecurity policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices, advising leadership on emerging risks and supporting audit and compliance activities
- Provide technical leadership and strategic direction to project teams, vendors, consultants, and managed service providers to ensure successful execution of security initiatives through effective planning and risk management
- Act as a trusted advisor to IT and business leadership on network security strategy, technology investments, architecture decisions, cybersecurity risk, and future-state security capabilities
- Influence enterprise technology standards, architecture decisions, and security investment priorities by developing business cases, technical recommendations, and strategic roadmaps
- Mentor and develop team members by sharing expertise, promoting best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth globally
What makes you great
- Bachelor's
degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 7-10
years of relevant IT network / security experience e.g. as Firewall Admin. - Experience in
the following products / Technologies or related Palo Alto Firewall - NGFW, PANORAMA, Global Protect Zscaler Internet Access ZIA, Zscaler Private Access ZPA, Zscaler Digital Experience ZDX Cloud-based security technology Zero Trust Network Access / Zero Trust Segmentation - Formal training and preferably certification in network security technology
- Advanced technical knowledge of network
& security concepts - Experience working in globally
distributed teams across locations, time zones and cultures - Excellent communication and leadership
skills: ability to perform under pressure and detail oriented - Ability to communicate, explain and
implement zero trust concepts to business and IT leadership Must be willing to travel based on the demands of the job
