The Loss Prevention / Security Officer is responsible for helping protect our guests, team members, property, and assets while maintaining the warm and professional atmosphere expected of a luxury hotel. This role conducts routine property patrols, monitors hotel areas for safety and security concerns, responds to incidents and guest or team member requests, and assists with emergency situations in accordance with hotel procedures. Responsibilities also include documenting incidents, monitoring access points, addressing suspicious activity, assisting with lost and found, and identifying potential safety or loss prevention concerns. The Loss Prevention / Security Officer works closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, and hotel leadership to respond quickly and professionally to situations while minimizing disruption to the guest experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, highly observant, professional, and able to remain calm and use sound judgment in challenging situations. Previous hotel security, loss prevention, security, military, law enforcement, or related experience is preferred. Strong communication, customer service, and report-writing skills are also important. As part of a luxury Curio Collection by Hilton property, you'll play an essential role in creating an environment where guests and team members feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
